Netflix just released “Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” and, given my knowledge of the case, I cannot bring myself to watch it. Are you watching and, if so, what are your thoughts on the series? Do you prefer to stay away from biographical crime drama/horror, if so, why? Have you seen other series or films from the biographical crime drama/horror genre? If so, which did you enjoy, which did you hate, and why?

Discovery+ is heavily advertising a documentary on Karla Homolka and Paul Bernardo. I checked the comments on the Facebook ad and the vast majority of people are horrified that Canada’s most hated couple are given even a moment of extra screen time. As a true crime afficiado, I am honestly struggling with this one. Part of me is curious as my only exposure to the case was through news reports and the Canadian True Crime podcast (see previous FTC review/recommendation). Also, I've obviously read/watched/heard about many horrible cases and the point of FTC is to discover the best true crime content. The other part of me is questioning if I should subject myself to this documentary, knowing full well how absolutely terrified and revolted I become when I think of these monsters and how Karla is a free woman. FTC members, I'd love to hear your opinions about this post and what you think I should do...watch or skip?
